My son Jim has been a client of Simone’s for 18 months. Jim is a 23 year old young man with Autism. He is non speaking, and has sensory processing disorder. Jim is very averse to touch, he is tactile defensive so he usually avoids all touch. 
With careful planning and support, and Simone’s professional and open minded approach to recognising Jim’s unique needs, Jim has become very comfortable in Simone’s hands. Massage has given Jim the opportunity to experience both gentle and firm touch and pressure, releasing built up tension in his joints and muscles. He has experienced feelings of deep relaxation and peace that he never could before.

He is much calmer and less anxious after massage and really looks forward to every appointment. He has also gained skills in following directions, listening and being responsive, he also really enjoys the calming music and essential oils. It is an all round very positive experience for Jim.
